Curio House is one woman’s mission to help people express their love for others, feel joy, expand imagination, and delight in curiosity through her interactive, handmade designs. Located in a Northern Colorado studio, Curio House creates clever experiences to bring moments of happiness to people and do some good in the world.
How do these gifts evolve? I'm passionate about spending a lot of time on research, development, and testing to create these gifts at a reasonable price. I appreciate good design and technique, and I want that to come through in my work.
These gifts contain more than you see. The way they're designed, the way they work, and the way they look all come from so many hours I spend on researching, developing, and testing. That's important to me. If you're giving a gift filled with thoughtfulness and emotional connection to someone special, the gift itself (the item you use to present your thoughtfulness and emotions) must include carefully considered technique and functionality.
The name Curio House came from the word “curio”, which is short for curiosities. Have you ever heard of a curio cabinet? It’s a cabinet where you keep all your favorite trinkets. I think it perfectly sums up what I set out to achieve; a place to house all the best curiosities! Fun fact — our logo represents that spark when you find something that brings you joy or think of a great idea. It’s our north star!
